Gurdaspur HC lifts Hockey title

JAMMU, May 1: Outplaying Bandhurakh Hockey Club by four goals to two (4-2) in the summit clash, Gurdaspur Hockey Club lifted the title trophy of the 6-a-Side Hockey tournament being held at Bandhurakh Hockey Field, here.
The tournament was held under the aegis of Hockey J&K.
Raman Bhalla, Former Minister was the chief guest on the occasion, while Joginder Singh was the tournament director and Matinder Pal Singh and Tajinder Singh were the officials.
Eight teams participated in this tournament. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh Kuku, Sr Vice President Hockey India, GS Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K, Harmanan Singh, Veteran Hockey Player, Devinder Singh, Sarpanch and Harjeet Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhalla lauded the efforts of the organizers for holding the mega event.
