JAMMU, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker, Mubarak Gul today declared the 4th J&K Golf Association Tournament open at Jammu Tawi Golf Course in Sidhra, here.
44 golfers from across the State are participating in the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said that the golf has tremendous potential in the State and underlined need for promoting this game globally.
“Holding of golf tournaments will go a long way in promoting tourism sector also in the State,” he added.
The tournament is being by the J&K Golf Association in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department.
