Governor congratulates Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Purasakar award winners

SRINAGAR, June 26: Governor N.N. Vohra, congratulated Tara Chand Kalakari and Nayeem Kashmiri for receiving the Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Puraskar in recognition of their contribution to Dogri and Kashmiri literature.
Kalakari has been awarded for his anthology of Dogri poetry, “Satrangi Peengh” and Kashmiri has been chosen for the coveted award for his Kashmiri short stories “Galoo Katha Boozive.”
In separate letters to both the authors the Governor has wished them continuing successes in all their future literary endeavours.
