UDHAMPUR, Feb 12: Gourav Khajuria scored 71 runs and took 3 wickekts to help United Cricket Club (UCC) Udhampur defeat Simula Cricket Club by 29 runs and claim title trophy in the Cricket, organized by Udhampur Police as part of Udhampur Olympics, here.
Batting first, UCC scored 149 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 4 wickets in the process. Gourav Khajuria top scored with 71 runs.
In reply, Simula Club managed to score 120 runs with Atul, Shashi and Shubham contributing 28, 19 and 18 runs respectively.
The Tournament was organized by Udhampur Police, under Civic Action Programme (CAP), under the supervision of Shailendra Mishra, SSP Udhampur.
Working Committee Member Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Sham Swaroop Kalsotra, who also happens to be the President of UCC Udhampur was present on the occasion.
