JAMMU, Oct 23: Vipan Malhi and Abhishek Goswami sealed berth in the semifinals of the ongoing 4th Six Red Balls Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
In the quarterfinals played today, Abhishek Goswami defeated Nihkhil in a close contest by (4-3) 34-12, 00-42, 38-18, 31-23, 13-43, 08-40, 43-19, while Vipan Malhi thrashed Rohit Choudhary (4-1) by 16-26, 38-29, 35-25, 38-04, 33-05.
Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinals, Vishal Abrol thrashed Manik Sharma by (4-0), Abhishek Goswami beat Vikram Gupta by (3-2), Vipan Malhi trounced Ragun Choudhary (4-2), Nikhil Kapahi outplayed Abhishek Pathania (4-3), Rohit Choudhary outclassed Ishuk Choudhary (4-2) and Sunny Rajput drubbed Aman Sharma (4-2).
