Gorkha Club trounces Janipur CC by 6 wkts

JAMMU, June 26: Gorkha Cricket Club defeated Janipur Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the ongoing Jammu District JKCA Cricket Tournament, being held under the supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA and Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission at ggm Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, Janipur Cricket Club bundled out for paltry 75 runs. Sahil top scored with 22 runs, while Anuj contributed 18 runs to the total. Puneet Wattal was the wrecker-in-chief, who captured 5 important wickets, while Rahul bagged 3 wickets.
In reply, Gorkha Cricket Club chased the target easily by losing 4 wickets to win the match by 6 wickets. Sahil (33) and Kunal (17) were the main contributors. From Janipur CC, Wasid took 2 wickewts. Puneet was adjudged as the man of the match for his splendid bowling show.
