JAMMU, June 8: In the effort to spread ‘Fitness Mantra’ to every household in Jammu, Gold’s Gym organized a football match between Gold’s Gym XI and Jammu Football League winners ‘Wazir United’ at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Gold’s Gym players displayed extraordinary soccer skills and held the strong rivals under control in the first half, which ended goalless. However, in the second half Wazir United used all their experience and came back strongly to score 4 back-to-back goals, thus won the match by four goals to nil (4-0). Rooney of Wazir United scored 2 magnificent goals, while Raja netted one and Gold’s Gym’s prominent member J P scored a self goal.
Mrs Harmeet Wazir, Managing Director Gold’s Gym was the chief guest on the occasion, who presented trophy to the winners.
Gold’s Gym members who performed well were Stenzin, Aaksh, Nishant, Aamir, Puneet and Ishan.
The Gym has thanked all concerned for support and cooperation.
