JAMMU, Nov 9: The students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust were exposed to cooking, serving and eating skills as part of the Inter- House competitions which were conducted in the school premises, here today.
The competition was divided into three parts-salad making, sandwich making and mocktails and beverages.
The salads were well decorated with flowers and other things which were carved out of vegetables and fruits.
There was a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, mock-tails and beverages.
The students had experimented with various soft drinks and fruits to give it a personalized and a totally different taste and fireless cooking turned out to be an entertaining group endeavour.
The students of III-V and IX-XI participated in the event and the dishes were tempting and sumptuous that the class mates couldn’t resist the temptation to biage. Prizes were given to the best entries.
Speaking to the prize winners, Principal, Jyoti Asija said that the students have learnt the art of culinary skill today and such competitions in future would help them master it.
