Goenkans clear judo belt grading test

JAMMU, Aug 30: The students of G D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust participated in two days belt grading test, held at M A Stadium Jammu, under the banner of J&K Judo Association, affiliated to Judo Federation of India and recognized by J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
The test was held under the supervision of Suraj Bhan Singh and Vikas Dogra, coaches of J&K State Sports Council, besides Vikas Gupta, Secretary J&K Judo Association and Joint Secretary Judo Federation of India. 57 students participated in the test and all of them cleared the same.
The judokas are being trained by coach Bhanu Pratap, International judoka.
The Principal of the School, Dr R P Singh lauded the efforts of the students and their coach for this achievement.
