JAMMU, Oct 5: The students of G D Goenka Public School, Jammu, governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust brought laurels to the School by winning medals in Inter-School and senior Karate Championship 2015 held at Luthra Public School, Talab Tillo, here.
In all, 8 Schools participated in the event and GD Goenka Public School claimed overall trophy, winning 15 gold, 7 silver and 25 bronze medals.
Gold medal winners included Vasu Vardhan Singh, Vishesh Pandita, Rakshat Mehta, Anagh Bansal, Vatsal Gandotra, Srishti Wali, Nauman Malik, Harshit Kohli, Jahanvi Bhushan, Asmi Anand, Amaan Malik, Vaibhav Mehta, Tushar Kilm, Shivansh Arora and Arya Bhat.
The Principal of the School, Dr R.P Singh lauded the efforts of the students and their coach Abhijeet Singh Chib for this achievement.
