JAMMU, Apr 26: Displaying splendid spiking skills, the boys of Govt Girls Middle School Dansal lifted the title trophy by defeating GMS Domail by (2-1) sets in the summit clash of the Zonal Level Inter School Tournament of Dansal Zone conducted at Boys High School Nagrota, here.
The Tournament, in which around 280 players participated, was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports and the matches were conducted under the supervision of Mohd Hanief, Zonal Physical Education Officer.
In Volleyball Under-17 boys, GHSS Dansal defeated GHSS Kathar Manwal by (2-0).
In Kho-Kho Under-14 boys, Green Field Academy Jhajjar Kotli beat Shishu Vihar by one point, while in Under-17 boys, GHS Nagrota thrashed Saraswati Shiksha Niketan Nagrota by a solitary point.
Wrestling bouts and Kabaddi matches were also played on the occasion.
