HIRANAGAR, Nov 18: In order to create awareness among the students about the cleanliness and healthy life style, a symposium was organized in the premises of Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar.
Principal of the College, Dr Naresh Kumar Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, who in his address highlighted the importance of cleanliness and urged the students to educate all the members of community to which they belong so that the message of Swachh Bharat will go to every nook and corner of the country.
The 1st prize was shared by Priyanka Verma and Arjun Sharma of BA Part-III, the 2nd prize was shared by Priya Sharma and Shilpa Mehra of BA Part-III and the 3rd prize was given to Meenu Sharma of Semester-1.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Prof. Vijay Kumar Chandan, NSS Programme Officer.
The programme was compeered by Prof. Rakesh Sharma and senior faculty member Prof. Daya Vilas, Prof. Arun Kumar, Prof. Monika Mahajan, Prof. Arun Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof Monika Sharma.
