KATHUA, June 5: A function was organized today in the Library Hall of Government GLD Degree College, Hiranagar to mark the release of 3rd Edition of the College News letter “Pratibimb” for the session 2013-14, here.
MLA Hiranagar, Durga Dass Ji was the chief guest on the occasion and Prof Ram Krishan, Ex-Principal of the College was the guest of honour.
The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
Earlier, Prof KC Badgal, Principal of the College presented welcome address.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Hiranagar announced the installation of deep hand pump in the College premises from the CDF quota which was hailed by the students and staff of the College.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof Daya Vilas Khajuria, Prof Vijay Kumar Chandan, Prof Balbir Kumar, Prof Rakesh Sharma , Prof Arun Kumar and Prof. Monika Mahajan.
The function ended with a vote of thanks presented by Prof Daya Vilas Khajuria, Staff Secretary of the College.
