JAMMU, Aug 25: The KVS Regional Sports Meet in Volley Ball, Throw Ball and Jump Rope (Girls) was inaugurated by AS Gill, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu Region at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sunjuwan.
A total of 266 participants along with 31 escorts from Kendriya Vidyalayas situated in J&K State, parts of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are participating in this meet.
Sushma Jain, Vice-Principal presented welcome address and report of the meet. A cultural programme was presented by young students of the host Vidyalaya.
Manish Tuli, Principal of the host institution was also present.
Different matches in volleyball and other competitions were conducted during the day.
