JAMMU, Sept 15: GGM Science College Jammu lifted the Inter-Collegiate Basketball (Men) Trophy by defeating SPMR College of Commerce by (57-40), here today.
The Championship was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Basketball Court.
Hritik Khullar, Arjun Dev Jamwal and Usman Rashid were the star performers from GGM Science College, while Pranav Dubey and Neeraj Manhas also defended well from SPMR College of Commerce.
The final match was held under the supervision of Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof Venus Sharma, Prof Rahul Sharma, Mahesh Sharma, Prof Neeraj Sharma, Vikas Karlopia, S. Harinderpal Singh, VinayManhas and Sajad Ali.
The match was officiated by Rajesh Bandral, Rohit Chibber, Ranbir Singh, S. Harpreet Singh and Sumit Dogra.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Collegiate Basketball (W) Tournament 2017-18 will be held from September 26, 2017 to September 28, 2017 at the Basketball Court of the University of Jammu.
