JAMMU, Nov 20: The NSS Units and Red Ribbon Club of GGM Science College Jammu organized 2-day workshop on “AIDS Awareness” in College premises here today.
Nodal Principal, Jammu Division Colleges, Dr Satinder Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
Dr Rakesh Behl, Associate Professor PG Department of Community Medicines, Govt Medical College, Jammu was the Resource Person.
Rashish Khajuria, Assistant Director Information Education and Counseling and Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Director Youth Affairs, J&K AIDS Control and Prevention Society, Jammu were the guests of honour on the occasion.
The Programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest in presence of other dignitaries.
Dr Satinder Singh, Nodal Principal highlighted the need to create awareness among the masses especially the youth against AIDS.
The Programme was conducted by Richa Abrol and Diksha Mahajan, under the supervision of Dr Rajinder Singh, NSS Programme Officer who also presented vote of thanks.
