JAMMU, Mar 8: In the ongoing Police Martyrs T-20 cricket tournament organized by District Police Poonch under Civic Action Programme at Govt. Degree College Ground Poonch, three matches were played, here today.
The first match was played between GDC Poonch and Shankar Nagar Cricket Club. GDC Poonch won the toss and elected to bat first to score 121 runs, while chasing the target, Shankar Nagar Cricket Club scored 98 runs, thus GDC Poonch won the match by 23 runs.
The second match was played between Zaffar Cricket Club and Mandi Cricket Club.
Winning the toss and batting first, Zaffar Cricket Club scored 117 runs, while chasing the target Mandi Cricket Club scored 68 runs, thus Zaffar Cricket Club won the match by 49 runs.
The third match was played between Kalani Cricket Club Mandi and Poonch-XI, Poonch-XI won the toss and elected to bat first to score 238 runs.
While chasing the target, Kalani Cricket Club bundled out for a paltry total of 35 runs. Poonch-XI won the match by 203 runs.
A huge gathering of sports lovers witnessed the matches.
