GDC Ramnagar organizes T-10 Cricket Match

UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar organized a thrilling T-10 Cricket Match between students and staff under the Fit India Initiative. The event, held under the leadership of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, aimed to promote physical fitness and sportsmanship among students and faculty.
The students’ team won the toss and opted to bowl first. The male staff team set a target of 88 runs, with Prof. Manmohan Singh top-scoring with 36 runs. The students successfully chased down the target, finishing with 89 runs. Ansh was the highest scorer for the students with 26 runs.
Prof. Manmohan Singh was named the Man of the Match for his all-round performance, scoring 36 runs and taking 3 wickets. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal lauded both teams for their participation and emphasized the importance of sports in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
