JAMMU, Feb 18: Government Degree College, Mendhar organized a Quiz Contest under the guidance of Prof Shokit Hussain, HoD, Chemistry.
As many as 25 students participated in the Quiz contest. The participants were selected on the bases of screening test of all the students of BA/BSc Part – I, II & III. The Students were divided into four groups namely – Oxides, Alkanol, Halides & Metalloids.
The students of group, Oxides won the first prize, while the 2nd & 3rd prizes were won by Halides and Alkanol respectively. The prizes were distributed among the winners and the participants.
Dr M Azam, Dr Nayeem Ahmed Malik, Prof Qulb-e-Murtaza, Prof Zafer Iqbal, Prof Sarshad Hussain, Prof Mohd Akram Dr Mahroof Khan, Dr Firdous Nazir, Prof Sajad Ahmed Dar & Prof Sayer Ahmed Dar attended the function to make it colourful. The program was conducted by Prof Zafer Iqbal & Prof Qulb-e-Murtaza acted as program operator. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Prof Shokit Hussain, HoD, Chemistry.
