JAMMU, June 7: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Khour organised an Inter-Collegiate Poster Making competition under the supervision of Advisory Committee and guidance of Prof Hans Raj, Principal of the College.
The theme of the competition was “Biodiversity and Conservation”.
About 50 students from various Colleges and Universities across the UT of J&K took part in the competition.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Sakshi Sharma, Department of EVS University of Jammu, Sahil Kumar, GDC Khour and Gurpreet Kaur, MC Khalsa College of Education respectively and were given e-certificates.
Dr Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Dr Sunil Kumar Saliada and Dr Rajesh Manhas were the jury members for the competition.
To make the competition successful, the efforts made by NSS PO Prof Gurvinder Kour and Dr Neetika Sharma, HoD of Sociology were lauded by the Principal of the College.
