JAMMU, Oct 11: NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah organized ‘Poster Making’ competition on the topic “Unity in Diversity” and Mehandi competition in the weeklong National Integration NSS Camp.
Prof Kalpana Kesar, principal of the college was the chief guest on the occasion.
In the Poster Making Competition Nidhu Kaith and Rajni Devi were adjudged 1st and 2nd respectively, where as 3rd position was shared by Monika Kaith and Pooja Devi.
Sahil and Neetu were given consolation prizes by the panel of judges comprising of Prof Archana Bakshi, Dr Alka Sharma and Arti Sharma.
In Mehandi Competition 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions were bagged by Ranjana, Neha Thappa and Sheetal whereas consolation prizes were shared by Komal, Sweety and Rajat Singh.
The proceedings of the programme were initiated by Dr Suman Charak, NSS Programme Officer and convener, Dr Rupinder Kour.
