GDC Akhnoor, Commerce College script victories

JAMMU, Jan 25: Government Degree College Akhnoor and SPMR Commerce College registered wins in the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
In the first match, GDC Akhnoor defeated GDC Hiranagar by 8 wickets in a low scoring match. GDC Hiranagar scored a paltry total of 60 runs, while GDC Akhnoor chased the target in 6.4 overs by losing 2 wickets.
In another match, Commerce College got better of GMC Jammu by a big margin of 72 runs. Coomerce College scored 138 runs, while GMC bundled out for 61 runs, thus lost the match by 72 runs.
The matches were officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman, Jagtar Singh, Sadiq Husain Malik, Raman Kumar, Raj Kumar Bakshi and Manu Khajuria.
