GD Goenka conducts activity with Birla World School

JAMMU, Nov 1: GD Goenka conducted a video chat wherein a power point presentation on the topic “Depletion of Natural resources due to Over Population” was exchanged and discussion related to environment issues namely, “A Comparative study about Depletion of the Forest Cover in Their Country in the past ten Years” via IMO with their partner school—Birla World School, Salalah, Oman.
Both the sessions commenced for about an hour where the heart rendering presentation provided food for thought for all, as to how quick we have to start up with the remedial measures. The unique planet Earth has become an ailing planet and is yearning for protection and measures to safeguard it. Over population is draining it of all its resources.
This was a mind boggling experience for the students as they learned about the mammoth damage they have caused to the provider i.e. our planet. The diligent method adopted by the children to present their thoughts and opinions was commendable. Exchange of ideas besides showcasing of their material was very fruitful. They were most immaculate with the survey data reports and precautions to be implemented. The activity concluded with the children cheering each other and becoming friends for a lifetime. Exchange of e-mail ids was done for further follow up as learning never comes to an end.
The Principal and greeted the students of Birla World School, Salalah, Oman for having come up with exact and alarming situation of the environment wherein it is calling all to come, stand together and save it from doom.
