JAMMU, May 11: The 2 J&K Girls NCC Battalion, Government College for Women, Parade Ground conducted online essay writing competition. The theme of the competition was to focus on ‘Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’.
The competition was judged by Dr Gagan, Dr Mamta Sharma and Dr Nidhi Kotwal.
The first position was bagged by Cadet Ravleen Kour, while second and third positions were bagged by Cadet Swati Sharma and Cadet Iqra Jan Malik respectively.
Dr SP Saraswat, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the teachers for their initiative and guidance to encourage and inspire the students for getting indulge in these kind of activities.
He appreciated all the participants for their active response and also congratulated the winners.
The whole programme was organized under the supervision of Principal and Associate NCC Officer Lt Suman Lata and Asttt PTI Jasmeena Chib.
