JAMMU, Jan 1: Game Changers and Anti Corruption emerged winners of the ongoing CL Chrangoo Memorial Cricket Tournament by beating Lal Ded and Eagle Cricket Club with 82 runs and five wickets respectively, being played at Country Cricket Ground Amb Gharota , here today.
Game Changers won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Game Changers scored 168 runs with the loss of five wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Akash scored 63 runs, while Kanhaiya and Kanav contributed 42 and 39 runs respectively. From bowling side, Atul Watloo took two wickets while Candy and Rahul Koul bagged one wicket each.
In reply, Lal Ded failed to chase the target and bundled out at 86 runs, thus the Game Changers won the match with big margin of 82 runs. Akash Gupta made highest 27 runs, whereas Akash Reshi and Rakshit contributed 20 and five runs respectively. From bowling side, Baksh clinched three wickets, whereas Govind took two wickets and Sikka, Jatinder, Sanchit and Ankaj bagged one wicket each.
Akash Choudhary was declared as man of the match.
In another match, Anti Corruption beat Eagle CC with five wickets wherein Anti Corruption won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Batting first Eagel CC made 151 runs by losing six wickets in 20 overs. Robin Raina scored 41 runs, whereas Mohd Rahil made 34 runs and Gulshan and Robby contributed 26 and 21 runs respectively. From bowling side, Nayeem took two wickets while Ajaz, Jahangir and Sunil bagged one wicket each.
In reply, the Anti Corruption chased the target by losing only five wickets in 19.2 overs. Shubham made 76 runs, Imtiyaz, Zubair and Jahangir contributed 33, 17 and 12 runs respectively. From bowling side, Robin Raina took three wickets and Mohd Rahil bagged one wicket. Shubham Bhat was declared as man of the match.
Gharu Ram and Vishal were umpires and Tanish acted as scorer of the matches.
