Budhal Kabaddi League -2021

RAJOURI, Aug 27: Gabber team emerged winner of the District level Kabaddi tournament and lifted the title trophy, organised by Tahir Ul Islam Fuels at Budhal, here today.
The valedictory function was presided over by Additional Superintendent of Police, Vivek Shekher along with DySP Operation Imtiaz Choudhary, Principal GDC Budhal, Dr Mazamal Hussain and PDP District vice president, Farooq Inqlabi.
About 160 players from two districts of Jammu division including, Rajouri and Reasi participated in the tournament. The final match was played between team Gabber and Pir Panchal Budhal wherein Gabber team thrashed Pir Panchal Budhal by a margin of eight points.
Addressing the players, ASP Vivek Shekher said that the sports is an integral part of youth life without which the mental and physical growth of a person is impossible. He urged upon the youth to actively participate in sports activities and inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship.
PDP leader, Farooq Inqlabi said that Government must have to address the issues of these upcoming sportspersons such as construction of indoor stadiums at Budhal, Khawas and Peeri.
Later, medals, trophies and mementos were presented to the winner and runner up teams. The winning team was given a cash prize of Rs 23000, whereas runner up team was awarded with cash prize of Rs 12000.
Business Manager Tahir Ul Islam Fuels, Zaid Sagar, Shehzad Shahi, Azher Malik, Shabir Kamlak, Nazir Thaker, Haji Abdul Latif, Haji Mohd Amin and several other political social activists were present during the event.
