KATHUA, Aug 16: Friends Cricket Club Bani lifted the Peace Trophy 2014 by defeating Bhaderwah Eleven in the final of Peace Cricket Tournament at Sarthal, Bani in Kathua. A Medical Camp was also organized by the organizer Dr. Liaqat, in which a large number of people avail the benefit of medical services of senior Doctors.
Rajnesh Sharma, Sr Congress Leader Bani Constituency was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the players and also gave Rs 25000 to the organizers of medical Camp and the Cricket Tournament.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sharma stressed upon the importance of the games in youth of such a remote area to maintain peace and harmony in the area.
