RAJOURI, Mar 6: Friends Volleyball Club, Berogoe thrashed Volleyball Club, Manjithari and lifted the title trophy of the Volleyball Tournament organized by district police at Government Higher Secondary School, Kalakote.
In the tournament, as many as eight teams drawn from various areas of the district participated and displayed their skills.
On the concluding day today, Additional Superintendent of Police, Nowshera, Parshotam Sharma was the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winning and runner-up teams in presence of Principal, Government Degree College, Kalakote, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Naib Tehsildar, citizens and sports lovers.
While speaking, Parshotam Sharma highlighted the importance of the sports in day today life.
He stressed upon the youths to participate in the sports activities to keep their body physically and mentally fit.
He added that police will organize such tournaments in the future to harness the sporting talent of youth.
