Marginalised BCCI chief N Srinivasan may be in for fresh trouble in the Supreme Court tomorrow as the petitioner Cricket Association of Bihar has decided to request the court to restrain him from representing BCCI at International Cricket Council (ICC).
A bench headed by Mr Justice A K Patnaik will also consider the response of former Punjab-Haryana Chief Justice Mr Mukul Mudgal to continue to probe further the IPL spot fixing scandal. According to the petitioner association N Srinivasan should not be allowed to represent BCCI at any forum including ICC, till his name is cleared by Justice Mudgal Committee report as he has already been removed from the post of BCCI chief by the apex court of the country.
Srinivasan, his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan and 10 capped players of team India including Captain MS Dhoni are under investigation.
Dhoni is facing allegation of making a false statement before Justice Mudugal committee to shield Srinivasan and his son in law Meiyappan in spot fixing scandal.
Dhoni is the vice-president of India Cement which is owned by the family if Srinivasan and the company is the owner of Chennai Super King. (UNI)
