JAMMU, Jan 25: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council screened Football teams at Jammu and Srinagar for their participation in prestigious National level events.
At Jammu, J&K Under-19 (Junior) Football team for taking part in the 50th National Junior Football Championship 2015-16 scheduled to be held at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh from February 2 to February 8, 2016 was screened by the Council here.
Team comprised of 20 players, besides coach Rajesh Kumar and manager Hilal Panjabi.
At Srinagar, J&K Under-16 (sub-Junior) football team was screened for taking part in the Sub-junior National Football Championship 2015-16 scheduled to be held at Delhi from February 1 to February 8, 2016.
Teams consisted of 20 players, apart from coach Nazir Sofi, manger Wali Mohamad and Physio, Dr. Burhan.
For Football Team for taking part in 70th Santosh Trophy North Zone Cluster scheduled to be held at Jammu from February 6 to February 11 2016.Teams consisted of 20 players, besides coach, Hilal Parray, manager BA Malik and Physio, Dr Shahnaz.
