Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 organised

KATHUA, Sept 8: Government Degree College Billawar organised ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ wherein NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and staff members of the College participated enthusiastically, here today.
Prof. Anita Jamwal, College Principal flagged off the Run from the Campus. She appealed the participants to stay fit to face the adversities of life and help in building a much stronger country. After taking around the proposed route, the run culminated outside the Administrative Block of the College.
The run was organised jointly by NSS and NCC units of GDC Billawar focusing the theme of Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 “Jan Bhagidari Se Jan Andolan” through the co-ordinated efforts of Assistant Prof Yash Paul, NSS Programme Officer and Assistant Prof Raman Kumar NCC caretaker.
Associate Prof Lekh Raj, Assistant Prof Rakesh Sharma, Assistant Prof Arun Sharma, Assistant Prof Shiv Khajuria and PTI Ravi Kumar were among the runners who participated in the run. The event was organised under the overall supervision of College Principal Prof Anita Jamwal.
