First Edition of KC Intl Youth Conclave concludes

JAMMU, Sept 4: The first edition of KC International Youth Conclave concluded today at KC International School atrium.
More than 150 delegates from various schools of Jammu participated in the conference enthusiastically.
The conference was inaugurated on September 2 by the chief guest Minga Sherpa, Additional DC Law and Order, Jammu. In his address to the delegates, Minga Sherpa laid stress on the inner potential of the students that cannot develop without willingness and conscious participation of the students. He also wished the delegates great success in their deliberations over various issues due to be discussed during the 3 days long conference. The occasion was also graced by the benign presence of guest of honour Chaitanya Chowdhary, President KCIS, special guests Rakesh Dubey, Assistant Commissioner Jammu and Kuldeep Handa, SP Jammu North and the Principal, Anupama Sinha.
Youth Conclave is an educational simulation where students can learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations. It has turned into a potent source of learning among the youth of the world today that not only connects them to the real-life political, economic and cultural problems of the world but also instills in them qualities of leadership and problem-solving skills. It also helps them to develop soft skills such as research, communication, critical thinking, team work, creativity and leadership abilities.
The conference was totally student led and is being organized by an efficient team of Kcites and organizers from various educational Institutes.
Chanakya Sethi, being the Secretary General of the Organizational Committee and alumni of the school as well efficiently led his core team with Minal Kour as Director General, Sehaj Pal Singh as Deputy Secretary General, Vedita Choudhary as Head of Organization Committee and Paurav Sethi as Deputy Director General. It had been an honor to the school for having such a huge number of delegates and their enthusiastic participation ensured that event will undoubtedly make a huge success.
