Fireless Cooking Competition organised

JAMMU, Nov 10: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar organised ‘Fireless Cooking Competition’ of all sister- concern schools, here today.
About six students of three sister-concern schools participated in the competition wherein Manjeet Kour, teacher of Scouts and Guides was the chief guest as well as judge of the event. The students were adjudged on the basis of their presentation and confidence.
First position was bagged by Tejaswin Kaur while 2nd position was clinched by Navjot Kour, both from Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar and 3rd position was secured by Prerna of RM Public School.
Principal of the School, Rameshwar Mengi inspired the children to make healthy food choices through hands on learning with fresh, affordable food items from diverse cultures.
The aim to organise this competition was to aware the students about fireless cooking culture. The students were adjudged on the basis of their presentation and confidence.
