JAMMU, Mar 20: Shreya Gupta, Mayank Sharma, and Abdul Rafiq claimed gold medals in Under-14 sabre girls, Under-14 boys and Under-17 boys respectively in the 24th J&K State Open Fencing Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Fencing Association, which concluded here today.
In Under-14 sabre girls, Shreya of JK Montisoori Fencing Club won gold, while Kritharthi Kotwal of the same Club bagged silver and the bronze was shared by Shahida Akhter of Reasi and Bhoom Her of Jammu.
In Under-14 sabre boys, Mayank Sharma of Kathua clinched gold, while Harsh Anand of JK Montisoori Fencing Club won silver and the bronze medal was claimed by Lakshya of Jammu and Suryansh of JK Montisoori Fencing Club.
In Under-17 sabre boys, Rafiq OF Jammu and Karun Bakshi of JK Montisoori Fencing Club won gold and silver respectively, while the bronze was shared by Sidhant Raina of JAMMU AND Rudra Pratap of JK Montisoori Fencing Club.
