JAMMU, July 13: Displaying extraordinary fencing skills and showing composure, promise, grit and guts, national medalist Vansh Mahajan qualified his pool and entered the knock-out stage in Junior Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship, being held at Cape Town in South Africa.
This is for the first time a fencer from J&K State has achieved such a milestone at the International level.
It is the sheer dint of hard work that has helped this Civil Engineering student of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu to achieve heights.
Vansh attributes his success to his coach Shotu Lal, who is accompanying the team, besides ace fencers Ujawal Gupta and Rashid Choudhary.
