JAMMU, Mar 21: Ace fencer Vansh Mahajan, student of Civil Engineering of Govt. Polytechnic, Jam-mu, has left for U-23 National Youth Fencing Champio-nship to be held from March 23 to March 31 March 2016 at Pune in Maharashtra.
Er Ritu Jamwal, Principal of the College appreciated the fencer and encouraged him before his departure.
She said that Vansh, who had represented India in Junior Cadet Commonwealth Fencing Championship at Cape Town, South Africa, possessed all that is required to blossom at the highest level.
Er KS Bhatia, Sports Secretary, Er Inderjeet Singh, Er Manjeet Singh, Er KS Manhas (HoD Civil) and Joginder Sharma, PEM lauded the efforts of the fencer and wished him good luck before his departure.
