DODA, July 3: In an exhilarating match held at Sports Stadium Bulandpur here today the Fearless Knight Team emerged victorious against the Sundhara Team, marking their 2nd win in the Bulandpur Cricket Tournament.
After winning the toss, Fearless Knight elected to bat first and set a challenging target of 105 runs in 10 overs in front of Sundhara Team. Sonu Sharma remained unbeaten, scoring 28 runs off 11 balls while Salman Sheikh made 15 runs off 3 balls and Ajay Katoch contributed 12 runs in 12 balls.
In 2nd innings, Nasir led the charge for the Sundhara Team, scoring an impressive 15 runs off 6 balls as their opening batsman. Muna contributed 7 runs before being dismissed, while Sandeep made 15 runs in 12 balls. Apranjit managed to score 3 runs off 4 balls for his team.
For Fearless Knight, Shakeel Mir took 2 wickets conceding 7 runs in 2 overs while Sunil Sharma scalped 1 wicket in 2 overs by giving away 22 runs. Sonu Sharma claimed 1 wicket, giving away 4 runs in 2 overs.
Sonu Sharma’s outstanding performance with both bat and bowl earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match award.
