JAMMU, Oct 23: Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Bani defeated Birpur Bullets by 19 runs in the ongoing Ball Buster Cricket Championship at Parade ground, here today.
Batting first, FCC Bani scored a good total of 184 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. John Mohammad, Hyder Ali and Waseem contributed 46, 38 and 27 runs to the total respectively. Rishab Jmawal took 3 wickets for Birpur Bullets, while Ankush claimed one wicket.
In reply, Birpur Bullets managed to score 165 runs to lose the match by 19 runs. Akshay and Shakti scored 37 and 28 runs to the total respectively. For FCC Bani, Ashfaq and Mushtaq took 3 wickets each, while Bashir claimed 2 wickets. John Mohammad was adjudged as the man of the match.
