JAMMU, Feb 15: Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah inaugurated the Invitational Golf Tournament at Sidhra Golf Course, here today.
The two day event is a major golf tournament to be organised at the Sidhra Golf Course and around 80 high-end golfers from Srinagar, Jammu and Chandigarh are expected to participate in the tournament. According to the organisers the objective of the tournament is to promote golfing tourism in J&K by showcasing the world-class golf courses across Jammu and Kashmir.
Among others, MLC, Devender Rana, Secretary Tourism, Zaffer Ahmed Bhat, Director, Tourism, Soujanya Kumar Sharma, Fayaz Ahmed Kaloo were present on the occasion.
