JAMMU, May 23: Keeping the healthy tradition of organizing extension lectures to the students and faculty, Dogra College of Education organized an extension lecture on ‘Lesson Planning’ which was delivered by Prof. Jaspal Singh, an eminent educationist and Sr Assistant Prof in Education and coordinator B Ed Programme, Department of Distance Education, University of Jammu.
During the course of interactive lecture, Prof Jaspal Singh explained the different approaches to lesson planning at B.Ed. level for classroom teaching at school level.
He stressed upon the use of effective planning of the lesson before delivering it to the students in order to achieve the desired objectives of teaching. He emphasized that teacher should build a positive rapport with their students in order to make teaching learning process more effective
Earlier, Bela Thakur, Academic Coordinator, Dogra College of Education presented welcome address.
Kr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Prof B D Damral, Director, Dogra college of Education and Shefali Sharma, Principal of the College were also present on the occasion.
Indu Puri, Senior Lecturer of the College presented vote of thanks.
