Excelsior Sports Correspondent JAMMU, Apr 4: District Kishtwar Premier league 2020-21, organised under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with concerned District Association in disciplines of Football, Kabaddi, Hockey and Volleyball got underway at Choghwan, here today. Three matches were played today in Football disciplines between Begana Football Club and Bunastan Football Club, the match ended with draw, whereas 2nd match was won by Real Kishtwar from Bunastan FC Junior and the last match was played between Berabhata Football Club and Real Kishtwar FC wherein Kisthwar FC won the match by 6-1 goals and qualified for the 2nd round of the tournament. In Kabaddi, Kishtwar Lions Club qualified for 2nd phase of the tournament by defeating Sangram Bhata Kabaddi Club by 10 points, whereas Begana Club emerged winner by defeating Sangram Bhata Kabaddi Club. In Hockey, two matches were played between Real Kishtwar and Kuleed Hockey Club and Kishtwar Sports Club and Young Club, wherein Kuleed Hockey Club qualified for the second phase of the league. In Volleyball, five matches were played between Kishtwar Volleyball Club and Forest Volleyball Club, whereas Forest Volleyball Club and DPL and Forest Volleyball Club and Block Bleed, besides Forest Volleyball Club and Dhrubshalla and DPL and Dhrubshalla. The overall winner Dhrubshala Volleyball Club qualified for the 2nd phase of the league. All the matches were officiated by committee of technical experts, whereas the tournament is being organised under the guidance of Divisional Sports Officer Jammu Ashok Singh and the tournament is organised under the supervision of coordinator District Kishtwar Premier League, Satpal Singh Chief Football Coach J&K Sports Council and his team Ajay Gupta, Kho-Kho & Kabaddi Coach and Dalvir Kumar, Hockey Coach.
