RAJOURI, May 6: The examination of various Post Graduation and Under Graduate Diploma courses in Baba Ghulam Shah Budshah University (BGSBU) for the academic session 2012-13 started today.
Among the PG courses, the examination are being held in Master of Business Administration, MBA-Financial Management, MA Arabic, Masters in Bioresources Biotechnology, Master in Applied Mathematics, Masters in Computer Applications and Master of Science in Information Technology.
At least 6 centres have been made for Engineering courses viz B Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), B Tech Electronics & Communications (ECE), B Tech Electrical and Renewable Energy (EREE), B Tech Information Technology and Telecommunication (ITT) and B Tech Civil Engineering (CE).
The examination on the first day passed off peacefully and smoothly with the authorities maintaining strict monitoring of all the centres.
It is pertinent to mention here that the University has already started the process of admission for the year 2013-14 and Information Bulletin has been kept available at Srinagar, Jammu, Kishtwar offices besides in various colleges and main campus Rajouri. With few days remaining to apply, hundreds of aspirants are applying daily in the University and the institution has got tremendous response this year in the admission. The approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to all Engineering courses and state-of-art facilities in the Engineering College is also a big reason behind great enthusiasm in getting admissions in the engineering courses in this University.
