JAMMU, July 24: NSS unit of Government Degree College Ramban today conducted online essay writing competition on “Role and Importance of Doctors during COVID-19 pandemic.”
A large number of students from various educational institutions participated in the event and described the role, responsibility and challenges faced by doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic as frontline warriors.
The first position was shared by Anuradha Jamwal of GCE, Canal Road Jammu and Afshana Javaid of GDC, Handwara, whereas second position was clinched by Sheenam Farooq of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and 3rd position was shared by Ravinder Singh of GDC Ramban and Rushanka Joseph Kottakkal of ICLES Motilal Jhunjhunwala College, Mumbai.
The event was judged by Prof Jaideep Kumar HoD Zoology and Dr Vinod Kumar HoD Botany, whereas the competition was coordinated by Prof Zakir Hussain Naik, HoD Political Science along with the organising committee under the supervision of College Principal, Dr Naveen Anand.
E-certificates of appreciation were given to all the participants who scored above 60 percent marks.
