JAMMU, Dec 18: Elite Public High School (EPHS) marked its 24th Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, with the theme “Rainbow of Relations.” Over 400 students participated in the event, delivering exceptional performances that highlighted their creativity and talent.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North, as the chief guest; Pawan Kumar Sharma, Superintendent of Police, as the guest of honour; and Mohinder Kumar, Ex-Councillor and Corporator of Udheywala, as the special guest. Chairperson, Mala Sharma, and Principal, Sanjay Sharma, were also present.
The ceremony commenced with an inspiring address by Vice Principal Rajni Khosa, followed by the presentation of the School Annual Report for 2023 by Managing Director, Vasudha Mahajan. The report highlighted the school’s outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities, underscoring its commitment to providing a well-rounded education.
Chief guest Sham Lal Sharma praised the theme “Rainbow of Relations,” emphasizing the importance of harmony and diversity in society. He spoke on the significance of education in shaping character, discipline and preparing students for life’s challenges. Sharma encouraged students to embrace values such as honesty, hard work, and compassion to lead fulfilling lives.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Amrita Koul, In-Charge of Veerta House, who thanked the guests and the audience for their support.
