SRINAGAR, Sept 21: Eleven Tigers crushed Central Jail Super Kings and lifted the title trophy of the T-20 Cricket Tournament, played at Central Jail, here today.
Eleven Tigers won the toss and elected to bowl first. Central Jail Super Kings frittered away a solid start and only managed to score 55 runs in 12.3 overs.
Eleven Tigers chased down the modest target easily and defeated Central Jail Super Kings by 7 wickets.
Opener Syed Umair Shah was declared as Man of the Match for his winning knock.
Meanwhile, fast bowler Khursheed Ahamd Mir also contributed with his tight spell by taking three wickets.
It is pertinent to mention that, the T-20 cricket tournament was organized on the directions of SK Mishra, DG Prisons Department.
The prizes were distributed among the players by Hilal Ahmad Rather, Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar.
