DODA, Sept 1: District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Jaffar Hussain Sheikh has kick started the Football Tournament at Sport Stadium here today.
The month long District Level Inter Zonal Tournament in all age groups Boys was inaugurated in the disciplines of Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Badminton.
In the tournament around 80 players show their talent in all the disciplines. The teams are drawn from all the zones of District Doda.
Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh boosted the morale of the participants and also aware them about the importance of physical fitness.
All the Standard Operation Procedures were strictly followed during the conduct of the tournament.
The matches were officiated by Aftab Alam, Mudassir Maqbool and Vijay Kumar.
In U-14 final, Doda Zone beat Ghat zone by 2-0 , whereas in U-17 final, Doda Zone defeated Ghat Zone by 3-0.
