JAMMU, Dec 15: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) held inter-school District level selection trials in disciplines of Football, Netball, Rifle Shooting and Hockey of girls under all age groups at Government Boys Higher School Jammu Cantonment, Rifle Shooting Hall Gandhi Nagar and KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
The aim of the selection trials is to select best players for next level of tournament coming ahead. The competitions were organised under the supervision of organising committee member and technical officials deputed by the department concerned.
The selection trials were held under overall supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma DYSSO Jammu and ZPEO Satwari and In-charge of the competition, Satwinder Kour.
A large numbers of students from different education institutions participated in the competitions.
