JAMMU, Sept 9: Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Jammu has organized a sports event for golden age people and household women at Golden Days Centre for Senior Citizen Lower Roop Nagar, here today.
The matches were held in the discipline of Tug-of-War, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Badminton and Yoga under the chairmanship of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District, Youth Services & Sports Officer, Jammu and under the overall Supervision of Harvinder Kour, ZPEO, Jammu. The main aim of this programme was to encourage household women and golden age people to keep them fit and healthy. There were 90 male and female participants who took part in various events.
