DYSS conducts PYKKA Tourney

SRINAGAR, Nov 12: In order to explore the talent of youth in various sports activities, Department of Youth Services and Sports conducted District level Panchayat Yuva Krida Aur Khel Abhiyan (PYKKA) tournament at Sports Stadium, Anantnag.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner (DDC), Anantnag, Farooq Ahmad Shah was the chief guest.
While speaking, DDC stressed to conduct such events on regular basis in order to discover the sports talent among youth.
As per the statistics available, a general increase in the literacy rate has been observed in district Anantnag and 90 percent literacy dream will be satisfied in future, DDC added.
ADDC, Anantnag, ADC Anantnag, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Anantnag were also present on the occasion.
