DyCM distributes medals among winners of All India Karate Championship

JAMMU, Oct 12: All India Shito-Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Championship organized in the memory of Maharaja Hari Singh concluded at multipurpose hall, MA Stadium, here today.
The event was organised by Universal Martial Art Academy, Shito Ryu Kai Karate Do Association Jammu and Kashmir and AKAJK.
On the valedictory function, Dr Nirmal Singh, Deputy Chief Minister was the chief guest, who presented the medals in presence of Shiv kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, BS Slathia, President Bar Association Jammu, GN Tantrey, Chairman Doon International School Jammu, Rehana Jawed Vice President AKAJK, Member Sports Council and Vice President of Karate Association Rahil Gupta.
The overall event was organized under the supervision of General Secretary of Karate Association of J&K and Joint Secretary of Karate Association of India Ambedkar Gupta.
Earlier, the Championship was inaugurated by Bharat Sharma, General Secretary Karate Association of India.
In 16-17 years boys (Pool-A), Abhijeet Singh from SAI, Vishnu Saud from SAI, Himanshu Gupta from Jammu and Piyush from Jammu emerged winner, whereas in Pool-B, Aditiya from SAI, Abhiraj from Jammu, Anshul Shau from SAI and Arjun from Jammu registered wins.
In 17 years boys (Pool-B), Lokesh from MP, Ayush Goura from MP, Nikhil Rajput from Jammu and Aditya Singh emerged winners, whereas in Pool-A, Navdeep from SAI, Rajat from Jammu, Musain Bilal from Ganderbal and Naresh Manhas from Jammu registered wins.
In 18+ years Men (-50 kg Pool-A), Abhijeet from CRPF, Javed from Jammu and Rohit Goswami from MP registered wins, whereas in Pool-B, Shubhanshu from MP, Sandeep Panjalia and Mohammad Hassan emerged winners.
In 18+ years Men (-60 kg Pool-A), Herojit from CRPF, Sumit Kumar from MP and Mohammad Agzar emerged winners, whereas in Pool-B, Sharir Ahmad, Tazeg Qadir, Firdous and Adnan Khan emerged winners.
In 18+ years Men (-67 kg Pool-A), Sunil Dhiya from CRPF, Joginder Singh, Manik Sharma and Tayad Sheikh emerged winners, whereas in Pool-B, Sawabrat from CRPF, Sorova, Sanjay Kumar and Adnan Khan registered wins.
In 18+ years Men (-75kg Pool-A), Gagandeep Singh from (CRPF), Anup Singh Bandral from J&K and Abhijeet Singh from J&K emerged winners, whereas in Pool-B, H. Malatesh from CRPF, Usman Khan from Baramulla and Kanveer Singh from J&K emerged winners.
In 18+ years Mens (-84 kg), Sukpalyadav from CRPF, Denesh Kumar Bhati from CRPF, Pushpendra Sharma from CRPF and Harsh Vardan Singh from Rajouri emerged winners, whereas in Pool-A, Shrnoo from CRPF, Vinod Kumar from CRPF and Vikash emerged winners,.
In 18+ years Mens (+84 kg Pool-B), Pushpender Kumar from SAI, Basant Sharma from CRPF, Assif Mirza from Jammu and Sahil Singh emerged winners, whereas in Pool-C, Aditya Kotwal from Jammu, Atif Kateeb from Jammu, Munish Kumar from Jammu and Akash Chib from Jammu registered wins.
In Men’s Open KATA (Pool-A), Anil Sharma from CRPF, Pushpender Sharma from CRPF, Abhijeet from Jammu and Shudhanshu from MP emerged winners, whereas in Pool-B, Ashish Wakte from CRPF, Basant Sharma from CRPF and Sumit Kewat from MP emerged winners.
In 18+ years Women (Pool-A), Azmat Bibi from Rajouri, Deepa Sharma, Shagun Chib and Joshina Jamwal from Rajouri emerged winners, whereas in Pool-B, Diksha Rajput, Nitika Sharma from Rajouri and Hadiya Ashiq emerged winners.
In Junior India KATA, Abijeet from MP, Ayush from MP, Lokesh from MP and Vishnu from MP emerged winners.
